2023 Winter Camp
Christian Surfers Manly (CSY) are heading north to Scotts Head for our annual Winter Camp. The 5-day camp is an awesome opportunity to get away, surf, hang out with friends (and make new ones!), and think about the big questions of life. Below are the details of the upcoming winter camp, along with information on when and how to register.
COVID-19 Information
Christian Surfers Manly will have the appropriate measures in place to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. Some of these measures will include:

Adopting strict standards in terms of cleaning, hygiene, infection control. Leaders and staff will be briefed on our procedures and policies that are put in place.

Maximising social distancing and adhering to density limits in building, room, cabins, vehicles, etc.

Ensuring people with COVID-19 symptoms or people who test positive with COVID-19 are not permitted on camp. This includes during the camp, parents may be asked to pickup camper.

Although masks may not be mandatory we ask all campers to ensure they pack a mask.
Although restrictions may be eased, camps can be a high risk situation so we ask all campers to help assist us in these times should their be any COVID-19 issues.
Christian Surfers Manly may require the use of approved RAPID ANTIGEN TESTS before departing, this will be communicated closer to the date of the camps.
Itinerary
As the title of ‘surf camp’ suggests, we will indeed be surfing! Scotts Head is one of the best surfing locations on Australia’s east coast and is ideal for the varying degrees of surfing ability, offering great waves for beginners and pro’s. The camp will also be an awesome opportunity to dive into Gods word through a series of talks, discussion groups and quiet times! On top of all the surfing we will be doing over the 5 days, the camp schedule will be jam-packed with other activities and fun stuff.
What to bring?
Please follow the pack list outlined for the camp, please ensure that if you don't have something that you get it in advanced before the camp. If you don't have a bible we can lend you one for the camp! With Covid-19 there may be additional items you will need to bring, this will be communicated via email closer to the camp date.

Our leaders are an awesome team of local talented Christian people with so much knowledge of god that they pass on to the younger generations. Most of them are pretty cool surfers too! Christian Surfers Manly ensure that our leaders undergo not only Safety Ministry Training but also attend sessions on surf safety and how to run a good Christian camp as a loving team.
